COMPOSTING
BIOZYS composting technologies
Compost is a local and renewable fertilizer. It enriches our soils and stores carbon in the form of stable organic matter.
Composting helps avoid the importation of fossil mineral fertilizers. It thus contributes to the fight against climate change.
Tunnel composting
Construction of floor, walls and ceiling in XA3 concrete (high resistance to the corrosive environment of the process during fermentation), with an opening at the entrance for the passage of the machine during the filling and emptying operations of the tunnels, and closed by a door during the composting phases.
Composting in a Dome
The floor and walls are constructed of XA3 concrete (high resistance to the corrosive environment of the fermentation process), with an opening at the entrance for vehicle access during the filling and emptying of the bins. The roof is a lightweight structure composed of a galvanized steel frame and a translucent tarpaulin. The door closing the entrance during the composting phases is of the same design.
Composting under breathable membranes
Composting in concrete bins:
The floor construction (including integrated air ducts) and walls are made of XA3 concrete (high resistance to the corrosive environment of the fermentation process), with an inlet opening for equipment access during the filling and emptying of the trays. The air ducts can also be positioned on a slab beneath the material.
Free-motion composting:
Windrow construction without retaining walls, with or without ventilation via air lines. Depending on the windrow ventilation, these lines can be either integrated into the slab or above ground.
